Montana
Antelope

Eastern
Specializing in mule deer, antelope and whitetail deer hunts for the rifleman, muzzleloader, and archery enthusiast this outfitter is located in eastern Montana. Their hunts take place on private property, offering you a high percentage of success of taking that fine trophy animal. They pride themselves in offering to you that great Montana spirit of friendlieness and the best in good food and accommodations (ranch style). Their goal is to make your trip and hunt a memorable one for years to come.

On the hunt you will be staying right at the ranch house with the outfitter. You will have hot showers and eat home style meals with our family. For those wanting to stay closer to the night life a newer local motel is also close at hand for your use, with restaurants, bars and casinos available. The use of private property, 4 wheel drive trucks, preseason scouting, knowledgeable guides, plentiful game, and the kind of country they hunt, most of the hunts are not real physically demanding. They have guided clients in their teens to in their 70's and have had very good success. Anyone under 18 must submit proof verifying they have completed a safe handling firearms course. Anyone having special needs will be matched up with the right guide. The pace of the hunt will be geared to accommodate you on your western hunt.

Here is a western big game hunt that everyone must do at least once. The early October weather offers lots of fun and action at an affordable price. The country they hunt in eastern Montana produces some of the largest horned antelope in the state. The average is just over 14 inches and bucks 15 and even over 16 inches have been taken every year. You will often see 100 to 300 antelope daily and success rate rund 90-100% on these hunts.

Big Horn River
With over 15 years in the outfitting business, this outfitter offers you some of the finest hunting opportunities in Montana. The new lodge is lcoated on the Big Horn River less than an hour from Billings. The hunts take place on over 80,000 acres of private ranch land with over 20,000 dedicated to upland bird species of pheasant, sharptail grouse, Hungarian partridge, and Merriam turkeys.

For big game, you will hunt over fifteen miles of Big Horn River frontage for trophy whitetail deer, or take to the rougher, pine covered canyons for trophy mule deer. Deer in the 26" to 30" range are not uncommon. Antelope hunts are also available. You may want to combine an antelope hunt with a mule deer hunt for an exciting combination.

Montana Antelope
If you have never hunted antelope it is something you should try. Success is very high, usually 100%. But don't take these black nosed, fleet footed critters for granted, they can disappear over a knoll and never be seen again and you must look for another group. This outfitter has access to 35,000 acres of private land that supports a healthy population of good antelope bucks, some in the record class. You will stay on the ranch in camp trailers.

Eastern
Antelope tags are on a draw basis and due by June 1. The first choice area is hunted out "the back door" of this Montana ranch and offers quality antelope. Hunting is done in open, rolling sagebrush prairies. Hunting is conducted by 4x4 trucks, glassing, then stalking. Shots can range from 150-300 yards. The average shot is 200-250 yards. Antelope can be hunted in combination with whitetail or mule deer the last part of October and the first week of November.
