Sawtooth Wilderness
Idaho has more wilderness, more miles of wild river, and more wildlife habitat than any other state in the lower 48. Nearly 4 million acres of this state is national wilderness and this full-time professional outfitter is the exclusive outfitter for over 250 square miles of prime hunting country. This outfitter offers unguided hunts and drop camps, you will find exactly the hunt you are looking for. Along with outstanding big game hunting for elk, mule deer, cougar, bear, sheep, and goat, this is some of the most beautiful and scenic country imaginable. Elk and deer tags are sold on a quote system here, thus guaranteeing you a tag if purchased early. The outfitter will purchase your tag and license for your convenience. Deer and elk hunts are conducted out of a pack in base camp in remote, roadless areas. The camps are comfortable, wall tents with wood burning stoves. Camps are limited to four hunters. This area has a history of producing exceptional trophies, maybe you can become part of it.

Salmon National Forest
This outfitter is located on the North Fork of the Salmon River. Their area encompasses a large section of the Salmon National Forest which is in Unit 21. This area is home to miles of diverse, pristine, majestic landscape loaded with wildlife and recreational opportunities. These trips are fully outfitted and include packing you in and out of camp, large wall tents with all equipment and a cook tent manned by an experienced camp cook.

Hunts for black bear, mountain lion, mule deer and elk are available. The elk roam the forest meadows and are truly kings of their domain. These elk are invited to feed with the livestock during the late winter when their food sources are in low supply. This gives the outfitter an edge in learning habits of these magnificent creatures.

Mule deer hunts take place in an area with high concentration of animals. These hunts are only offered for five days each fall. Bear and mountain lion numbers are high right now and opportunities for these two prized trophies abound.

Northern
This ranch holds exclusive outfitting rights to over 740,000 acres of the Clearwater and Nez Perce National Forests under special use permit from the US Forest Service. Combined with their 4,200 acres, the ranch offers its guests one of the largest land concessions in the state of Idaho for hunting elk, whitetail, mule deer, black bear, turkey, cougar, bobcat, moose and mixed bag bird hunting.

Elk hunts are conducted in remote wilderness areas throughout the territory where elk populations have been on the rise over the past several years. Guests will be packed in by horse and mule and will enjoy the deluxe backcountry camps with full amenities. They maintain a one guide to hunter ratio and only take a limited number of elk hunters per year to maintain trophy quality.
