The owner and operator of the hunting lodge is a lifetime resident of the area he hunts in Manitoba. With over 1.3 million exclusive acres to operate in, they maintain an excellent success rate on black bear. Carefully located bait sites guarantee sightings at close range for both bow and rifle hunters. Spring and fall hunting are both very successful. Portable tree stands placed over active baits ensure you daily action. Bears over 500 pounds are taken here annually.


The North Interlake region is tops for opportunities for trophy whitetail. Hunting the area for nearly 30 years, they have a great insight to locations of trophy bucks. Hunts take place in heated portable stands, that are located on teh fringe of agriculture. Moose hunts are conducted in remote northern areas accessible only by aircraft. The hunts take place during the rut to maximize hunter opportunities for both bow and rifle hunters alike. Excellent walleye and pike fishing is available during these hunts as most calling is done in the early morning and late evenings.

Moose hunts with this outfitter take place every September when the temperatures are dropping this far north. The moose hunting experience this outfitter offers has both aspects moose hunters look for. The first beging the actual hunt, the stalking, the tracking, and the calling. Nothing makes your adrenaline rush like a 1,700 pound bull moose plowing through the bush towards you until the moment you both meet. The second is the land. The topography and rugged landscape of the Canadian subarctic sets this scene and will be a lasting memory. Outpost camps on small lakes are utilized and success rates run very high on trophy bulls in the 50 plus inch range.

Only four hunters a year are booked into this premier fishing camp 150 miles north of Thompson, that turns into a moose base camp in the fall. A number of outpost camps on nearby lakes are utilized during the hunt. Morning and evenings are spent at river mouths or open swamps calling for big bull moose. Fishing is always available and will keep you busy during the mid day hours (of course one eye is kept on the shore). This is an unforgettable wilderness experience of hunting, fishing, delicious shore lunches and campfire tales.

This outfitter specializes in hunting big bull moose averaging from 42" to 52", have taken several at 57" and have seen giants over 60". The terrain consists of a vast region with over 12 rivers and a hundred lakes. Throw in the various forest fires which ran through the area and caused a regeneration of vegetation and you have the ideal habitat for big moose. These animals have never seen a hunter other than the rare trapper and now yourself. Success runs 50-60%, varying year to year, and opportunity is 90%.
