Big Horn
The Big Horn River is rated as one of the finest trout rivers in the lower 48 states with census figures of 7,000 to 10,000 catchable trout per mile. Many trout are 18-22 inches in length with several trophy rainbow and brown trout even larger. There are over 32 miles, of exceptional fishing on the Big Horn. The guides here are local and very knowledgeable in the upper, middle and lower sections of the river. The fishing is done from drift boat or jet boat. They consider the lower section as the “Best Kept Secret on the Big Horn.” This section is visited by very few anglers or outfitters. This ensures their clients a remote, unforgettable experience fishing some of the finest trout waters available today.

The lodge was recently built to accommodate the outdoorsman. The three hearty meals a day are a welcome complement to the lodging and appetite you will develop in the Big Sky Country.
Acrobatic Kamlops rainbow trout are abundant in the private twelve acre lake. These fish were stocked a few years ago, and only see limited fishing pressure. Remember "A River Runs Through It?" The Madison, Jefferson, Gallatin, Big Hole and Beaverhead Rivers are all a short drive from the ranch. Lewis and Clark first plied these waters in 1803. This summer, take the float trip of your life, where you will catch 2 to 6 pound German brown trout and rainbow trout.
Saddle up for a horseback trip right from the ranch. The scenery is spectacular; the snow-capped Madison range in one direction and the Tobacco Root Mountains over your shoulder. Here, you aren't far from the Continental Divide. Keep your eye peeled for huge elk, whitetail and mule deer as you ride through some of the most beautiful country in the West. If you are really lucky, you may see an elusive bear.
