This lodge provides the opportunity for outdoorsmen and women to enjoy hunting at its best in the heart of southwest Kansas, known for excellence in hunting. They have developed over the years a natural habitat of 4,000 acres of CRP grounds, milo stalks, weedy draws, deserted homesteads and live water creeks that provide a variety of terrains for your hunting pleasure. Living on this habitat are pheasants, deer and quail. Their abundance in these areas are due to the forty-two guzzlers erected for summer watering.


They can tailor a variety of hunts that will suit your needs either a terrain that is more difficult to walk or you may prefer a easier terrain for your hunt. A guide with a trained dog can take you through new lands each day throughout Lane, Finney and Hodgeman counties. Besides transportation to the hunt, they also have six Arctic Cat 4-wheelers for your use. You are welcome to bring your own hunting dogs.


Your stay with them during your hunt includes lodging within Dighton, KS in a choice of several locations with eight to ten lodgers in each house. Complete kitchens are provided.

This outfitter offers guided and unguided hunts on over 200,000 acres of private ranches throughout the mid-west. They offer hunts on the following species: whitetail deer, quail, turkey, pheasant.

This is a post rut type hunt and we tend to hunt from stands the majority of the time. The deer are not moving as much as during the rut and you will not see as many bucks. But, the potential to harvest an exceptional buck is greater in Kansas since the gun season is after the rut. Placing the gun season after the rut makes them less vulnerable and therefore bigger. Kansas muzzleloader hunt is held the last week of September, making it a great time to hunt big bucks. Bucks are still in predictable summer patterns and they have not been hunted. This hunt allows muzzleloader hunters to hunt deer prior to archery and gun hunters.

The quail and pheasant hunting is some of the best in the mid west and as you know quail and pheasant numbers fluctuate each year due to the rain, hail, predators, drought and other effects. That is where our large number of ranches we always have an area that has some birds each year. They bird hunt in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas. These have proven to be some of the best bird hunting states in the mid west and south. They can handle groups of up to 12 hunters. They also offer horse back hunts on some of the ranches, this is a great way to hunt and not be worn out at the end of the day. They have fully guided hunts and unguided hunts for those who would like to come and hunt on their own and use their own dogs.

This outfitter offers a wide selection of turkey hunts to satisfy just about anyone’s addiction to turkey hunting. Whether you are trying to get your slam or just like to really get after them, they can tailor a hunt for you. They can hunt several different states and hunt several different species of turkey.

This working ranch, close to 3,500 acres, consists of canyons, creek bottoms and farmland that is heavily maintained to ensure a thriving wildlife population. CRP fields allow for natural cover and miles of food plots provide for excellent upland game bird hunts. Pheasant numbers abound and are mixed with some bobwhite quail as well. Unguided or guided hunts, their dogs or yours, are available. The lodge is over 6,000 square foot of living area and can accommodate up to six.
